Thats a celtic ring design made with the lost wax casting technique, a model was made in was and then casted in silver and the surface finnish was made it's a unique pice as no molds were made of the sculpted pice and there are some photos from the was mold and the final ring. oh yeh its a casted ring but it's still hand made because he was sculpted by hand and not with a computed milling machine.
